I’d planned a regular posting schedule that I felt was manageable for me, and interesting for you, so I’m disappointed that I only published one before taking a break. So in this and the next post I’m going to share the information I’d intended to do during August.
My plan is to share three times a week on the following topics, please let me know if there is anything you’d like to see that I haven’t included.
Thoughtful post inspired by what is happening in my life, what I’ve read or written in my journal
Current reads and purchases which will give an indication on the type of journal prompts I could be trying out
Journal post styles I’ve used in the previous week which could give a peak at new prompts and templates as I experiment and develop them.
I’m currently reading
From Clutter to Clarity by Kerri Richardson
I’m continuing with reading books about decuttering as we approach the start of our full house renovation. I’ve only recently started this book, but I think there could be some meaty journal prompts in it. I’ve already had one moment of inspiration (not from journal writing) about why I have so much stuff.
I’ve had ten days away from work recently and spent a lot of it at the beach so had plenty of reading time. The other books I’ve read since my previous post are:
The Year of Less - Cait Flanders
The Home Edit - Clea Shearer, Joanna Teplin
Stuff Happens - Emma Gleeson
Mind Over Clutter - Nicola Lewis
You can definitely see the theme! If you’re interested in a book about decluttering let me know and I’ll make a recommendation!
What are you currently reading?
In the past three weeks I’ve bought
Oneness with all life - Eckhart Tolle
Singletasking - Devora Zack
Being Boss - Emily Thompson and Kathleen Shannon
Miracles Now - Gabrielle Bernstein
I’m pleased I’m slowing down the books I’m purchasing to almost one a week sort of inline with my reading. Perhaps I will make my way through my to be read pile, in the decade or two!
I’d love to hear your thoughts on any books that have inspired you. Which books do you think have journal prompts for me to find inside?
